Biography
Stacey Crane, D.N.P., F.N.P.-B.C., specializes in family medicine and sees patients of all ages at MidMichigan Health Park - Houghton Lake.
Philosophy of Care
“I want to provide care for my patients the way that I would want care delivered to my family,” Stacey said. “There are many things that influence patient treatment plans. Providing them with compassionate care will hopefully allow them to feel comfortable discussing factors that may be contributing to their illness.”
“I want patients to feel comfortable asking questions. It is important to me that they feel comfortable with the plan of care at the end of each visit and if they do not, that they ask questions until we come up with a plan we both agree on when they leave.”
Stacey enjoys seeing patients of all different ages and a variety of health conditions.
“I can be playful with a young kid who has a wrist injury from a bike injury and then go into another room of an elderly patient who needs services arranged to help them through a chronic condition that is progressing.”
“I also like hearing back from patients once they have recovered and knowing that I’ve helped them get through an illness or injury.”
In her free time, she enjoys being with family, especially outdoors. She and her husband, Stefan, have six children ranging in age from 22 to 8 years old.
“We like to go camping, fishing, and boating. I also enjoy baking. It’s something my grandmother taught me and I hope to pass along to my children.”
